If you are more fortunate than me and are planning to be in Buenos Aires soon, I have a handy link for you: a new site reviewing different tango shows in Bs As. The owners sent me an image for the link that has gotten me particularly excited (more after the link):
See, here's the brilliant idea: Buenos Aires has a lot of stray cats and a huge market in tango-tourism. I think it was only a matter of time before these things combined into the awesomest tango show ever! Kind of like the Jingle Cats' Meowy Christmas (and if by some cruel accident of fate, you have not experienced the Jingle Cats, let me help you out here...
but Meowy Tango (and yes, I know I've discussed this before, but it's so good that I must revive the topic). First off, we all know that cats can dance, this is unquestionable. People are always going on about the tango walk being panthery and so on, so the dancing is just one big meowy duh. Second, the bandoneon has certain strains reminiscent of cat yeowling - and I say this with all the love in the world, because I happen to adore the bandoneon. I see a string of Catlos Gardels crooning such masterpieces as Cat Il Faut, La Catarsita, Cataro in Paris, Catbalanche, Catito Azul, Araca La Cata, Catminito, El Gato Ricardo, Por Una Catbeza, Catamarca, and Libergato... Oh yes, I could spend all day renaming famous tango songs with the insertion of "cat" or "gato" ... don't think I couldn't and wouldn't if I didn't have to study more in anticipation of upcoming finals.

Now if we could only find the cat tango videos...
